They've always reserved the right to do whatever the f*ck they want in Gaza (and the West Bank) if they don't like what's going on. And they enforce that right with the IDF. Israel is a sovereign nation, Gaza is within its borders, & they use their military if they deem it necessary to protect its sovereignty & citizens - that doesn’t mean it’s occupied. Would you say that the US gov’t occupies Kent State, or Portland, etc. today?
