Iowa v. Michigan Friday Night

Did anyone else see any of the Iowa-Michigan game Friday night? Iowa wins by 16 points while getting only 7 points from Tyler Cook their best player and leading scorer. They get double digit scoring from 3 other players including 15 points and double digit rebounds from a Freshman off the bench. Looked at their roster. No Mc Donalds All Americans, I don't believe they have any 4 star recruits. Have a lot of kids from High schools in Iowa. These guys play excellent team defense, rebound, and move players and the ball on Offense.

Maybe there is a lesson in there for us, if we are willing to pay attention.

Sounds like he wants to model the IU program after Fran...recruit local unheralded recruits, win at a 57% clip, 47% in B10, make NCAA tourney 2-3 times in 9 years or so...

But he has a ‘system!’ Be patient!

They have a good team this year. I think Moss and the freshman guard have made a big difference, and Garza has quietly gone about his business getting better.

Connor may, may, have been a five star but Patrick, incoming frosh son #2, is better than him. Garza is our key and you guys can have Romeo, we will keep Weiskamp for four years.
