This is new only to Joe Rogan.
A social media site I have invested in starting in 2016 has been dealing with this crap since forever.
Banks, net registrars, payment processors, etc. are all engaged in this.....
Anyone thinking we live in a free country is delusional.
If only there was a decentralized monetary system that didn’t require the permission of centralized authorities. Also, what if said system was scare and able to move capital at the speed of light? If anyone invented something like that, I bet it would be very valuable. Probably orders of magnitude more valuable than a pet shiny rock 😁

Still only a currency.
Does nothing unless validated by the commerce gatekeepers.
Irrelevant.

Not a laughing matter.

After all the dust settles..it is and remains a currency, wholly dependent on whomever will accept it. It won't matter dick if the provider won't accept any form of payment, or allow you any mechanism to participate in the marketplace...

If GoDaddy dumps you, you're in a real bind, if PayPal and Stripe and literally all of the credit card commerce players blacklist you, you can wave your bitcoin stick all 'round .....they don't care.

It’s more akin to digital gold. Nobody is dumping Bitcoin at this point. All the big institutional players are in. It’s still early for crypto, but that’s changing fast.

Even if you don’t believe in the digital gold narrative for Bitcoin, it makes little sense to no allocation to it. Even 2-5% can turn into something substantial if you’re wrong, and won’t break the bank.
