I was watching the Kokomo/ Westfield game and thought the guard at Westfield was a very good shooter. Forgot the name and also don't know if he is athletically able to compete in the B1G.Do we have any uncommitted 6'2" - 6'4" above average athletic, pure shooting guards in the state with a true love for IU basketball?
Westfield played a very patient, savvy game and got the W.I was watching the Kokomo/ Westfield game and thought the guard at Westfield was a very good shooter. Forgot the name and also don't know if he is athletically able to compete in the B1G.
Kokomo is a group of talented transfers, surrounding a superstar big. If they end up meshing well, and embrace supporting Flory, they'll win the state title, probably easily. But if the Westfield game is any example, they haven't embraced that yet. And knowing a couple of the transfers games and what they've shown to be their personalities in the past, it might not happen.Westfield played a very patient, savvy game and got the W.
Not sure the Westfield players are capable of D1 ball but it's early in the season.
Sounds sort of like another team I've been following for quite a while.Kokomo is a group of talented transfers, surrounding a superstar big. I wouldn't say exactly the same as IU...but they're probably facing similar challenges getting everyone on the same page. IU doesn't have any body as dominant as Flory is against IHSAA competition, as one major difference. Flory is probably even more dominant, respectively, than Edey is.Sounds sort of like another team I've been following for quite a while.
Most people in my day never thought Scott Skiles could play in Big10. That was false.I was watching the Kokomo/ Westfield game and thought the guard at Westfield was a very good shooter. Forgot the name and also don't know if he is athletically able to compete in the B1G.
one of my all time favorite non-IU playersMost people in my day never thought Scott Skiles could play in Big10. That was false.
Skiles is on a very long list of guards from this state that went elsewhere and killed us.Most people in my day never thought Scott Skiles could play in Big10. That was false.
If you ever get to Plymouth try to go there when they have the blueberry festival. It's a fun time and the town goes all out for it.Skiles put up 56 on us with relative ease and our school was 4x bigger than Plymouth.
Braylon Mullins... 6'4 wing from Greenfield Central. He's a 2025 kid that screams Purdue type kid. Think Dakota Mathias (he's not as good), Sasha Stefonovic, Ryan Smith. My point, he can shoot, he's athletic enough to play a meaningful role, and he'll be there four years. Purdue offers this kid all day but due to a scholarship crunch in 2025, they can only take one and that needs to be a forward.Do we have any uncommitted 6'2" - 6'4" above average athletic, pure shooting guards in the state with a true love for IU basketball?
If I remember correctly, MSU got jobbed in the tournament his senior year against Kansas in the sweet 16.Most people in my day never thought Scott Skiles could play in Big10. That was false.
All those guys are in their 40s.Do we have any uncommitted 6'2" - 6'4" above average athletic, pure shooting guards in the state with a true love for IU basketball?
It's fun. Basically a fair. But the lack of actual blueberries and things made with blueberries is both puzzling and annoying. If you ever get to Plymouth try to go there when they have the blueberry festival. It's a fun time and the town goes all out for it.
Isn't Woody recruiting him. I thought he was.Braylon Mullins... 6'4 wing from Greenfield Central. He's a 2025 kid that screams Purdue type kid. Just looked and he has an offer from IU. Not one from PurdoucheBraylon Mullins... 6'4 wing from Greenfield Central. He's a 2025 kid that screams Purdue type kid. Good point. But the blueberry donuts are great. It's fun. Basically a fair. But the lack of actual blueberries and things made with blueberries is both puzzling and annoying.
As I said ... Purdue isn't going to offer a guard, there's no room.Just looked and he has an offer from IU. Not one from Purdouche
At least getting topnotch ones to play at IU has become a rarity. JHS [not from Indiana]. Where have all the great Hoosier High School shooters gone?Perimeter scoring and defense are overrated. Everyone knows shooting guards are a dime a dozen and recruiting them is a big waste of time.
