For 2025, you may not have the option to keep your current seats. Due to the program's growing success, fair-weather fans with more points might take precedence over your seats—just like what happened with Women's Basketball this year. I urge everyone to reach out to Scott Dolson and the football ticket office and advocate for long-time football season ticket holders to have the choice to keep their seats.

The athletic department has been talking about doing this for several years now. They were just afraid of scaring people away during the COVID and then losing seasons. It makes sense to do it. As it is people can get good seats by donating big one year and then just hang on to them. If you are a good level donated every year you should get a shot at better seats.

We are due to reshuffle in 2026. That will happen every 4 years as I understand it. Unless they do something drastic we are theoretically safe one more year unless you know something I don't.

It would be just like the current admin to crap on the long time season ticket holders,
and most likely NIL donors to appease the new bandwagon fans.

So this was only our second year as season ticket holders and I was under the impression that they did a reshuffle every four or five years. I did do my renewal and from what I saw on my renewal, everyone was going back into the pool and will have to select seats again. I'm adding an extra ticket this year so I would have had to move anyway as there wasn't an open one next to the two I already had.

Full stadium re-seating originally planned for 2026 season has moved up a year to 2025 season. Not sure how many years off the next re-seating will be. Keep in mind that basketball is re-seated every year.

No we don't have one more year in current seats. When I renewed my 2025 seats I had issues and called the ticket office for help. They told me I had to re-select my seats as the Athletic Department changed the 4 year policy due to the success of this season.

Gotta make sure the big donors who haven't shown up the past 30 years like me, can put down a big payment and get better seats than me.

What ticks me off is they did this behind our backs without telling us.

Right, but that's part of the price of success.

I get it, but many of those big donors have been buying season football tickets for years. They just never show up and sell those seats on the secondary markets for every game. The seats in front and beside me have not been occupied by the actual season ticket holders once in the past three years. Most of these are purchased initially by basketball-only types who use the priority points to get better bball seats, and sell the football tickets to offset the investment. I personally know two guys who do this. One purchases 8 football tickets, the other purchases 4. Neither has set foot in MS in years ( if ever). One has told me he always makes back the cost of his football tix any year we play OSU or Michigan at home. Every other game is gravy. The guy with 8 tickets hates football, and has no interest in attending. As for the guy with 4, I'm not sure if he has season tickets or not, but he's a huge Notre Dame football fan. He has family connections in the admin. at ND and attends several home games there every year. King of the reversible jackets.

While this chaps my ass, I don't have an answer or a solution to how to fix the system. I've been a season football ticket holder for over 20 years and a small contributor to the varsity club during that time as well. I buy season tickets for WBB and either VB or baseball every year also, buy a mini-package for IU auditorium shows, am a life member of the alumni association and make a small contribution to other programs occasionally. That has all added up to a decent level of priority points and I have always ended up as well off or better when football seat selection resets. I'm not real worried about getting bumped. I'm at least happy that this year the people sitting around me have been IU fans and I don't feel like I'm sitting in the middle of the visitors section any more.

We started buying season tickets at the start of the Kevin Wilson era.whivh coincided with our kids arrival at IU. We chose not to renew after the '22 season. We were able to buy single game Tix via Seat Geek or Vivid for very low prices on excellent seats..

This year, we chose to buy the mini package and we were really pleased with our seat location ( section 25 or 27, 30th row or so. We actually ended up buying tickets to the B1G games that weren't part of our package. I have to wonder what our fate will be next season. I'll not be surprised if the mini thing is a thing of the past. We're on board for season Tix anyway. I've got a feeling that there's a couple seats in section 2 row 56 with our names on them.
