Instead of this season IU beats Cincinnati, Nebraska, Maryland, Rutgers, along with the three to start the season what would the thought about the team. I know we have to deal with reality but an 8 or 9 win season would be accepted as a turnaround season.
Before this season started a number of posters were saying all the changes would make it tough for IU to have a good season. Beating Illinois changed that perspective, but I am not sure it should have. Maybe this season hasn't been as bad as we have made it out to be.
When IU beats PU, I will see this as a team that just came up a bit short and I will look forward to next season.
