Exactly. Purdue is really awful. Your recruiting has been horrible, but you seem to be making them worse.
Still much better than yours, which is awful. Your best defender is an IU legacy who couldn't get an offer. Just horrid.
No he couldn't get an offer, much to his disappointment. He obviously wanted to follow his brothers to IU. To his credit, Wilson never misled him.
Well that was pretty dumb of Wilson because Jake could end up being the best of the bunch.
Wilson doesn't care much about defense, but JR isn't a difference maker. He may be your best player, but it's a really poor unit.
Can you guys just hug it out and admit that both PU and IU are both horrible football teams? Both schools have no defense it seems and are mental shells at this point in the season. There isn't a single guy on either defense who would start for another conference team. Period.

Latham is undisciplined and a direct reflection of the head coach. Yet another game with a Latham penalty resulting in a cancellation of a defensive stop at an absolutely crucial time. Boneheaded plays and execution beyond belief. Wilson's right on schedule for his 8 game collapse.

I'm not saying he's an All Big Ten guy, but I think it's a stretch to say that he wouldn't start for Purdue, Illinois, Maryland, or a few of the other bottom feeders. Ditto for a few guys on this defense. There's a few guys who are talented enough, but they're not quite there yet. And there are some seriously bad defenses in this league. We're the worst, but that doesn't mean there's not a few talented guys.
