I was torn at the end, I bet on the Mocs because my numbers said they were a great money line value bet, but I have the Illini winning 2 or 3 in my brackets. Crazy, but my bracket won out in the end and I was pulling for the Illini in spite of my bet

Kinda like Shaq used to be. Sure he fouls a lot but he’s also getting hacked on the other and not getting calls. I think that gets in the refs heads.

Case in point on Cockburn...... at the end of the game.... ILL is shooting free throws..... Shooter misses front end of 1:1 and ball bounds out.... Cockburn bumps the Chat Players under the rim and gets the rebound and puts it back up and scores.

To me.... it was a clear foul..... but to the refs.... He's just a big guy and his weight did it.

And I do agree with others..... he was getting hammered underneath as well... but they were called for it also.

Agree. Not sure how the hell you ref the guy. He takes a lot of punishment but he dishes out even more. There is simply no holding your ground on D when we wants to bull his way to the rim.
