...was almost entirely from bad 3pt shots and a couple turnovers. Most of it was in quick transition. I have yet to see that acknowledged. Add Phinisee, a couple of those shots go in and IU handles them the entire game.

Pretty clear to me. Go back and watch that run. Brick laying outlet passes.

This and Ill hit a few of their own threes.

How does that explain the 40-55 game closing down to 58-62?

IU was down 25-15...went on a 40-15 run...
but then let an 18-7 run close the lead to 4 points...

Thats 2 bad runs vs 1 really good to a 4-10 record team...after about 13+ days to prepare for them...Im worried going forward...

IU has what many IU fans say could be a B10 POY and a B10 FOY...

It doesn't, but at 32 all it took a big run from Langford to get that lead and generally teams respond to some degree. If IU had had an 8 point lead they may have stretched it without having to score on every possession later.

Oh...so you are asking me to ignore the 18-7 run at end of game...to cut lead to 4

No. I am telling you that the run out of halftime that got IU the lead in the first place was likely to see some counter.

Indiana scored on 11 possessions to Illinois' 4 after halftime to go from 32 tie to 55-40 at the 8:30 mark. So Illinois had scored only 8 points in 11.5 minutes into the second half. That means they are probably going to make a run at some point and they did.

They got a lot of action off the high post hand off too and IU was late and/or going under it.
