Really seems to be your only bad loss. It has to be frustrating though to give up all those second half leads, kind of makes the wins not feel as good, ending games on a bad note in away, same way our OT wins seemed to be viewed almost like losses to some of our fans.
Hope Hanner and Davis recover from their injuries, tough to lose guys where you are already thin.

Probably. We're 28 in one poll and tied for 30th in the other.

Although I don't think we'll win in Champaign, so we'd drop down next week anyway.

Eastern Washington...

Sure, they surprised us, but they're now alone in first in the Big Sky, 12-4 and 3-0. The lost by 4 points at #17 Washington after giving up the lead late. So, it was a tough loss, but they're not a bad team. I'd like to see a rematch.

Re: Ask that question a couple weeks from now

If we go 2-2 over the next four games we are in good shape.

Re: OTOH, EWU got drilled by Sam Houston State.

Yah, i'm not happy about it either. I'm just trying to look at the big picture and they seem to be doing OK overall. Hopefully they win their conference.

Is Michigan State in the Top 25?

What was the IU/MSU score? I think that might be a bigger reason. MSU is not ranked, so how can they put IU above them after that beating? Just my guess. I know very little about these things AND I'm late for my MENSA meeting again.

If we were, would you feel real good and confident about it?

I'm not sure I'd be all that thrilled to have that nice little target next to the team name., especially while we are down a Devin and Hanner..

I feel confident we have a chance against anyone.

We can shoot it, so we always have a chance. Some nights we'll go cold, like Michigan St, and it'll look ugly, but most nights we're going to knock down a good percentage of three's, and we're going to take the ball to the rim if/when they try take the perimeter away.

We already have a target when teams play us. The name on the front of the jersey makes teams very much want to beat us. So far this year, most can't. I'm confident it continues.

26th in the Coaches Poll, 27th in the AP.

As for your other point--OSU is 26th in the AP (and 25 in the Coaches). Indiana is 30th. Did IU not beat OSU? (Yes, I know IU got thumped by MSU, but the polls are a snapshot of the season to date. And while brownie points were certainly lost when IU got thumped, enough voters thought IU redeemed itself nicely to get at least a few votes after the OSU win.)
