If Alford was hired I would be saying the same thig because I think coaches need 4 years before we call for coaches to be fired. I would have been against the hire just like I was on the Archie hire so I would have given him time.

While he wasn't technically fired from Iowa, he jumped to a lower conference before he could be...which is again extremely rare if he didn't see the writing on the wall.

Plus he had multiple 5 stars each year which I was told by the resident expert is all you need to win.

It's very telling that you referenced one season out of over 20, and it was one where he didn't finish in the top 2 in his conference or get past the sweet 16.
