Org Jr. and I drove 6 hours today going to, and returning home, from PSU. We had excellent seats, there were three IU fans sitting behind us, and we had a good time at the game. Of course, I would have had a better time if IU had played better and had WON.
Even so, there were some things I enjoyed seeing, For instance, I was very impressed with the effort TG displayed in handling the ball and driving it fast and hard. I was impressed with the way, MR was able to score down low. I was impressed that IU never let the game get out of control and had a chance to win until the 3 minute mark. I enjoyed our seats and I was pleased with the number of parking spots very close to the door (very poor crowd).
Org Jr. reminded me the last time we saw IU play PSU, IU pulled out a win, (we think) in 3 overtimes. Most important of all, I enjoyed a whole day of being with my son, the day after his 34th Birthday. In comparison, all of the other things that many of you are complaining about, were nothing more than minor irritations.
Soon, Org Jr. and I will be going to see IU play the Terps. And, win or loose, we will enjoy that game too.
