Indy Star didn’t call it an anonymous source. They called it an unnamed source from the IU Athletic Dept. Which likely means that the Star knows who it was, but the source asked to be unnamed. Big difference. Says to me that Dolson wanted it to be announced, but did not intend to offer any statement of support. Notice that the Athletic Dept has not denied it. We are likely stuck with him for another year.

Well, I mean some people might be grumbling about the decision, but at least it has shut down the speculation about Pearl, etc. I don't think it's a coincidence that they announced this when they did. There was way too much chatter about Pearl. They had to stop that.
