I like how the D could get MSU to 3rd down, but baffled by their inability to close em out.

Per Joe Smith MSU had 96 offensive plays, we had 60. That means the D was playing 50% more plays than the offense.

Discounting the two gimmees at the end, I think the D did pretty well. There's been a marked improvement. The DBs did a much better job than what has been the case in the past.

Special teams and the offense not getting it done on a couple of occasions when they just HAD to make a play was what did us in today.
