I think so. Still a lot of talent and they will play better.
Issue is our seed isn’t looking good, which obviously makes the tourney much harder.

The preseason schedule is a joke other than this tourney. Won't have any quality preseason wins.
It’s like Russian roulette for the last 10 years or on how the season will go. It’s exhausting as a fan. Why can’t IU have one good season in the last 10-15 years. And I mean like 30+wins and a long tournament run.
Yep. Beating South Carolina and Providence will end up like beating Minnesota and Penn State.
Being "bubblicious" in March....then limping into the NCAAs with a low seed....and in IUs case, having a play-in game does not end well, and further tarnishes the brand. It ends up being more embarrassing when IU gets into the tournament than it does when they don't. Catch 22. Get a coach, already.
First NET rankings for this season out next week I think. It will be interesting to see where we start out. Last season it was very stable plus or minus a small amount at 100 th.
Just looked at RPI and we are 63 rd so right on the RPI bubble.
A win over Sam Houston at home will do nothing-225 RPI nor Miami OH-115 RPI nor MN-185 RPI but a win at NE (53) would help a bit.
