After editing in the car, on the way home, I forgot to change them to they.
I had a hard time sleeping last night just thinking about my mistake.

You do know that something you’ve already posted can still be edited at any time? You also could have finished with “And by the way, them are males, but stay away from they anyway” as a veiled FU to the grammar police.
