It's Walsh's old job, whatever that was. I don't think it let's him get on the court and coach, but who knows.

Not sure about the "Team" aspect of the title.

And since on court coaching is restricted to only the HC and 3 assistants yet Walsh was still able to make enough of an impression on Woodson to get a full assistant position, I'd assume that the job likely involves participation in coaches meetings, film review, etc.

Full time job. He's played overseas what 10 years(and played well) and has 3 young kids. Good timing to hang it up and come home.

They changed that rule last year. If the HC or any of the assistants are out recruiting they can have a non coaching staff member fill in.
