Yeah, Wisky won that, Purdue did not choke. I hate to say it but Wisky is just about the most clutch team there is. If it is close down the stretch the odds are they will find a way to win. Kind of the opposite of us unfortunately. A lot of it is mental. Not really sure how you put that on Painter.
It took two guys playing HORSE and throwing in shots to win the game.
Wisconsin was throwing up prayers off the glass. Typical wisconsin win off crazy shots.Even during their glory years they never fail to disappoint.
Said all along, I just didn't think they had a PG to warrant the high ranking they were getting and I feel like that's been their weakness all year, just from perusing box scores. Not much productivity there, and their D has been down from past years. But this was the greatest Boiler team ever. It wasn’t IF they were going to win the B1G but by how many games…
No team wins regularly off "crazy shots" season after season. Try again. Built the best culture and system of any team in the B10. Folks may not like it, but it's damn effective.Wisconsin was throwing up prayers off the glass. Typical wisconsin win off crazy shots.
There's a reason he's called Pork chop . . . 😉Is Painter fat?
I'm just glad they won't be winning the elusive "trifecta". They still have the talent and moxie to win the BT and NCCA tournaments, yet to be played. One loss down, two to go!
Gonna be hard to win the B10 2 games back w 1 to go! BTT title? Yeah, that I could see. NCAA tourney title? Nope, don't see that in the cards. They need a solid PG to warrant their high ranking. Not prolific, but g defender/distributor/steady shooter/FT. Then I could see a top 10 team capable of a NC. Don't see this team hanging with the likes of KU, Zags, Duke, etc... All of which I think beat them 7 out of 10.I'm just glad they won't be winning the elusive "trifecta". They still have the talent and moxie to win the BT and NCCA tournaments, yet to be played. yes, far too many pork chops with gravy. Fat Alford and Caleb Swanigan have terrorized Buffet and Pizza joints for years. Trevion joins the club in 3 years. Is Painter fat?
Purdue is about as bad as Indiana when it comes to the B10 tournament. Painter is a career 11-14 in the BTT and has won 8 games since 2009. That's less than a win a year. Purdue is likely to be the 3 seed and will draw a team like Ohio State or Iowa who historically plays well in this tournament. In the event they win their opening game they will play 2 seed Illinois. Don't see any way the Boilers beat Illinois three times this year.Gonna be hard to win the B10 2 games back w 1 to go! BTT title? Yeah, that I could see. NCAA tourney title? Hey, be careful. Fife is right behind, so wicked words of weight may come back for us to hate. Once an athlete slacks off on conditioning, the buffet comes into bigger play, eating pork chops 'til he drops, for all I care, so very little, I'm happy to weigh-in.There's a reason he's called Pork chop . . . 😉
I think that Purdue has bigger problems than PG. They are just not very good defensively and they can get very predictable offensively. In the last 12 minutes last night, Purdue only had 1 shot attempt by someone other than Ivey/Edey. I think even with better PG play, Purdue would still be overly reliant on 1:1 plays by either Ivey or Edey. Stefanovic is a great scoring threat, buy almost always disappears against quality defensive opponents. He scored all 11 of his points in the first 8 minutes, but then went 0-4 the rest of the game.Said all along, I just didn't think they had a PG to warrant the high ranking they were getting and I feel like that's been their weakness all year, just from perusing box scores. Not much productivity there, and their D has been down from past years.
Probably their most talented team since '88. And still no Big Ten title. Have they ever.....I mean EVER won a big game??But this was the greatest Boiler team ever. It wasn’t IF they were going to win the B1G but by how many games…
not delusional... just hate everything black and gold with a passion. And not 20 years... They've dominated us for 5... not including this year.... And what program in the history of college bball chokes as much as Purdue?? Why are you even here??? Ever??Purdue has dominated us for 20 years. Gotta love the delusions on here.
35 games since 2002. Purdue didn't get above .500 against us until 2019. Hardly 20 years of domination.Purdue has dominated us for 20 years. Gotta love the delusions on here.

I don't think PU ever has enough talent or playmakers. Take away Ivey and what does PU look like? They have decent players, role players and some size, but nothing I would call special.Probably their most talented team since '88. And still no Big Ten title. Have they ever.....I mean EVER won a big game??
Archie never beat Purdue. Thanks Fred for tha genius hire you made before you bolted.Yep, before Archie, IU/Pur were alternating streaky periods of superiority, with IU being slightly ahead
You can thank Fred by not purchasing his book, Making Your Own Luck. I'm sure it's very captivating in a most boring sort of way.Archie never beat Purdue. Thanks Fred for that genius hire you made before you bolted.
