Will Bruin got a start for Seattle yesterday at Los Angeles and the Sounders blew the doors of the Galaxy, 3-0. He started up top which allowed Morris and Lodero to move out wide and Dempsey to drop in behind and they were humming. It will be interesting to see if Schmetzer keeps him in the lineup after that performance. I think his ship may have sailed on any significant national team involvement, but I'd love to see him have a really good season and maybe get called into the January camp as a reward.
