This game has a different meaning for our family. My son made a good friend through his work with the local minor league baseball team. Mike moved to Florida where he became a SID for USF and his wife works as an assistant trainer for Florida. Mike had a long commute so his wife could be closer to work.
Mike was killed in a car wreck about a month ago after staying late at work for the upcoming season.
Mike was from NJ and my son brought him to Bloomington for the first time to experience IU athletics. Mike would have returned this weekend. I know it would have been a big game for him. We will be thinking of him Sunday afternoon

R.I.P. to my cousin Danielle who was killed by a drunk driver on this date in 2007 in my car.
