High drama in B10 East

The author thinks this abuse nightmare will be a rallying cry for Maryland football this season. What is he smoking? Their recruiting for next year is going to collapse. The underclassmen have to be inquiring if they can transfer without sitting out a year. The entire coaching staff probably has one foot out the door. Did I miss anything?

Both situations in the East are embarassing for the schools. I still find it hard to believe with the number of MSU players involved with sexual attacks and run ins with the police their coach isn't in danger.

That is the most impressive display of a supposed institution of higher learning (M$U) protecting their revenue flow versus their students that I believe I've ever seen...

Rather sickening to see actually.

I'd love to see them (Michigan State) never win another game in anything up there but you know that's not going to happen...

Remember when IU played up there last year and Dantonio decided he needed to let their star RB play instead of being suspended for his 7th legal violation? I can't remember what it was over but he had 7 occurrences in a short amount of time.

Winning at all cost is alive and well in the Big Ten.

Bought himself a couple of refs too. Win at all costs pretty much covers it... I'd love to see those guys never win another one...

Normally, I might agree but sometimes these scandals have a way of rallying a team. They play the “us against the world” card and it gives them an edge.
OSU is OSU, folks. They could probably beat most teams with half a staff.
Anybody remember Kyle Flood at Rutgers? 2015 - academic scandal kept him out until....you, guessed it:

The IU game. They were down 25 points and could have thrown in the towel. Instead, they rallied and won for the Flood’s first game back.

Also assisted by a heaping helping of a horrible offensive game plan in the second half and zero defense by IU.

I bet Maryland has a solid season this year. That’s how justice works these days.
