And who knows how much longer Travis Kelce will be playing. Great opportunity for Peyton Hendershot.
Hendershot didn’t have as good of a year last year as the prior. He was used primarily in blocking situations and has played a ton on special teams. He can offer some value to KC.

Yes, that was a big part of it. I think he only played in 8 games due to a foot injury.
His former QB is overrated, his new one isn't. His new QB is getting older, the Chiefs are smart to fortify that position, for QB protection at least. He could end up being good for them. He's still got more potential. Smart by the Chiefs to get someone with upside, who's already useful, for just a later round draft pick, maybe it's conditional don't know.

Doesn't KC run a lot more 12 than Dallas? If so, it would be a better fit for him, given how TE-reliant they have been in the passing game. It sounds like the Wiley kid they drafted may have some question marks to start the season.
