With announcement of new physical helmets, stickers, new uniforms and no names on back, etc, is there any word on the helmet decal variations? Did they reduce variations add any new? Chrome domers want to know!

Glass was on Kent Sterling and he said that they will get other helmets in the next couple of years but this year they will only have one helmet.

Does Barney Fife approve of this? I mean, it’s old school. Anybody know if Aunt Bee is cooking the team meals? Some folks fear we have been time-warped back to Mayberry.....or so I’ve heard.
Otis may have been the reason we prohibit alcohol sales inside the stadium.

On a side note, I’ve sometimes wondered if he forgot a couple letters in his handle?

Was thinking after reading some of his posts, he left out a “u” and “c” in there?

Why did we spend several years talking about how cool it was for fans/recruits to have variations then announce going to 1 helmet days before season. I agree last season got a little too much as we never wore the same one it seemed but to go to 1 seems underkill now.

The new helmets are state of the art for safety and cost $130,000. I bet the players would be happy with one helmet if they could get their names on the jerseys.

i wish they would just stick to 1 helmet with the same decals for most of the season with maybe a game or 2 to be different (like against Purdue)

while there are many things i would not defer to the players on, this is one thing i have no problem doing so with.

just take a poll. if the players prefer names on the back of the jerseys, then why not do it.
