Yeah I think he just dominated smaller Texas teams with his size. He really was not that athletic.

The 2 guys that played with him that I know have much different opinions. Wasn't he co-mvp of the McD's game? Never lived up to the hype either way. Was a really good teammate from what I was told. Fwiw

How do think he got Camby to UMass? You think this crap just started a couple of years ago? Cal is very good at circumventing the rules. You want to tell me Cal didn't know that Derrick Rose didn't take that test after his previous score was so far away from qualifying? Come on man...

There were tons of rumors about Cal and recruiting before the Camby stuff blew up, many fueled by John Chaney and John Thompson, who were encountering him on the recruiting trail. No way any of the coaches at UMass didn't know MC was on the take, including one of our own. The documented lifestyle changes were unmistakeable.
