I was listening to Jack Arute talk with Tim Brando on the The Playbook on their College Sports Nation Channel. They were talking about commissioners retiring over the next 5-10 years. Obviously Delaney would fall in that category. One thing they mentioned is that he might want to stick around for the next TV negotiations. One person, can't remember if it was Tim or Jack, brought up how they wouldn't be surprised if you saw Netflix or a similar type of offering try to get TV rights to a conference. I thought that would be an interesting play to move from a Cable/Network provider to more of an online option or would they sell the rights to both. With the ATT and DirecTV merger, I'm guessing we move away from traditional cable/satellite options and more to internet type distribution.
