IU outhit Harvard, 11-6. Taylor almost hit for the cycle with a homer, triple and double, with his other plate appearance a walk, and he had four RBIs. Brenczewski was 4 for 4 at the plate, and Louisville transfer Dickerson was 3 for 5 with a 3-run homer and had five RBIs. Pyne was a scratch for the second straight game in a row with Moore at 3rd.

Gilley had another excellent outing and sailed through 4.2 innings before giving up a two-out, two-run homer to finish the 5th. He gave up 4 hits and 2 earned runs while striking out 7, and had just one BB.

Gubitosi had another excellent two innings pitched out of the bullpen, and that makes five effective innings for him on the season so far out of the pen. He had 3 Ks and 2 BBs over the two innings.

Benes day wasn't as successful as he gave up a 2-run homer in his one inning pitched. Yarberry came in to close out the 9th and he faced just four batters while giving up a harmless two-out single.

It wasn't a clean game fielding-wise as both Cerny and Stadler picked up a throwing error for two errors on the day.
