Not sure I've ever been more proud of a Hoosier football team after a game. Defense kept us in the game and the O, struggling all night, executes a perfect drive to win it.

OMG phenom stuff. When Cam went out I thought it was curtains. Great Great Effort and fight. Never gave up!
Really feel like Illinois had the advantage with a game under their belt but Indiana made enough plays to keep things close. Lots of things to improve on but Indiana showed heart and grit and fight and in the end found a way to get the conference win. Keep getting better every week and every practice and focus on the process. Take care of business with Idaho and go from there.

That Illini defense is stout...they'll make some noise in the west this year. Could have gone either way...really good win!
This was a gutsy win especially since many things weren't going well for the Hoosiers. They found enough points to win the 1st half and enough points in the 2nd half win the game. It wasn't a great game for the Hoosiers, other than the win, but a good win to build upon to improve for next week.

I thought they used Dasan well for his first game. If I were to make a prediction, he’ll end up a starter by the end of the season. Or if we play a passing team, he’ll get a lot more snaps in a pass rusher role.
CB doesn't have Penix like release but he finds receivers in their patterns. Something about Coach Allen and D just go together.
The players battled and came away with the W. It was a must win game and IU did it! Now off to game 2 and work on improving the run game.
I agree. He gives us explosive speed and athleticism where I think it will really pressure opposing offenses. Very promising start for him.
