God I hope no IU player ever plays for him. I have gone from loving to watch anything San Antonio to vowing now to never go to or watch a game on tv that he is coaching. Between him and Steve Kerr I have lost so much interest in watching NBA games. If any of us said half the stuff these spoiled celebrity coaches say we'd lose our jobs. They have every right to say what they say but we also have every right to tune them out and turn them off. As far as Popovich and Kerr are concerned, I'm out!!! Thank goodness our Hoosier pros don't play for these two clowns.

God I hope many IU players play for him. I have gone from "meh" about watching anything San Antonio to vowing now to support him as much as possible. Between him and Steve Kerr, I am so proud they take stand for what is right and stand up against blatant racism. I have gained so much interest in watching their games. If any of you guys said half the stuff these thoughtful coaches say, I'd stand up and applaud y'all. They have every right to say what they say, racist Trumptards have every right to tune them out and turn them off, and the thoughtful not Faux-News fans (even life-long Republicans, like me) ought to applaud their courage. As far as Popovich and Kerr are concerned, I'm in!!! Too bad our Hoosier pros don't have the good fortune to play for these brave leaders.

Yeah, I’d hate for any of our guys to play for the best coach in the NBA or a young excellent coach. That would be terrible. I much rather see Troy play for the dumpster fire that is New York than a franchise like San Antonio or Golden State.

The funny thing is that I bet that most of the guys on our roster right now have beliefs that align with Pop and Kerr than they do with you. I’d wager a few beers on that.

And I’m saying this as a conservative person. I don’t agree with some of the statements they’ve made lately, but Pop and Kerr are no clowns. Pop in particular is very educated and experienced in areas outside of basketball. I respect where they are coming from even if I don’t agree with some of their comments.

I love when people think celebrities should not have an opinion. Their opinion is worth just as much as the opinions in your post. It just so happens they have a bigger platform than you, due to their success.

So if I don't agree with Popovich and Kerr I'm a racist? Thank you for making my point. I rest my case!
I didn't say that

They take stands against racism. Anyone against their stances, for whatever reason, can feel free to tune them out, INCLUDING the significant number of racists among the Trumptard contingent. If you identify yourself as a racist, wear that badge proudly, I guess.

Some of those Nazis are (apparently) good people, the orange Fuhrer says!

Oh they have every right to have an opinion. I just don't have to agree with it, listen to it or support it. Doesn't make me a racist or a loser. Just one man's opinion. Good night boys. Go IU!!!

Did not call you either name.

No the sad part is we can have no respite from politics because guys like Popovich and Kerr can't separate enternainment ( that's what the NBA is at times) from piping on their political views. May not hurt the NBA total audience but it has impacted the NFL.

You’re an embecile. Popovich and Kerr are two coaches that every player should want to play for. They teach, encourage and do everything a successful coach does. Boohoo you whiny mofo....you don’t care for their political beliefs. Do you think I care what you think? But you posted it here. They have a belief just like many others and they have right to say it. You are probably OK with Manziel getting another chance at the NFL but still want Kapernick out and yes that makes you a racist clown.

Maybe that’s because the issues they speak out against impact the players they coach. It’s not entertainment in that case.

Wrong board but if you’re bringing it up, they’re both articulate and probably know more about what they were talking about when you were so offended than you do.

They are clowns who forgot they are basketball coaches not social crusaders. The media will literally put on air or promote any imbecile they can find with and anti administration view.

Like Trump is a clown that forgot he was a reality TV star? He literally got elected because he repeated everything he heard on Fox News...but you don't mind that?

Again...your President is a reality TV star that treats the office like a reality TV show. Talk about no respite.

It’s all a game designed to distract the masses from the littl bit of extra power the federal government gains everyday which they will eventually use to squash freedom of speech and thought

Sadly some can’t get over the fact he won.

Nazi is an interesting term. Considering it means a member of the National Socialist German Workers Party we know there are no Nazis in the US. But, let’s assume you mean fascist for the purposes of the argument.....

The Nazi fascists is Germany were certainly racist, no doubt about that. And there are those on the right wing who harbor some sort of racist sentiment, no doubt.

Those on the left wing have more in common with the Nazis than many realize. Hitler did two things almost immediately upon taking power. Disarming his citizens and eliminating freedom of speech. Those two things, while currently not far along in their process, are clearly things which many on the left are attempting to accomplish.

So, when you take a look at who is most like a Nazi and who isnt, those on what I presume to be your “side”, based on your comment, are more Nazi like than those which you insult with the word Nazi

No, I cannot get over people being hypocrites. You don't want celebrities talking about politics...unless they agree with you and then you vote them in office. Im actually shocked Republicans haven't started pushing Ted Nugent to the Senate. He's really no different than Trump.

People should be allowed to talk about whatever they want

Are you more upset that the economy is booming or that Russia collusion is a hoax?

The left wants to dismantle freedom of speech? Ha ha ha. How is that? I think you are confusing free speech and hate speech.

The economy was on this same track well before Trump took office. I know I have lost money since Trump took office. Especially lately.
The Russian collusion is a hoax? Ha ha ha. How many people need to be caught lying, get arrested, or admit to it before you realize it is not a hoax.

Hate speech counts, like it or not. Unless you are advocating violence then even hate speech should be protected

I hope they keep it up and get the best players! Glad they stand up for what they believe in and voice their opinion as they have that right as much as anyone. I guess being the best at your craft now makes you "spoiled".
