Green airball trying to play Hero Ball

Arch was all talk...smith and green got way too many minutes for not producing much of anything...i just don't get it. Deron should have gotten more minutes...Maybe even Race

Green played better today.
But will Green continue his overall good play?
I hope that he does.

He’s never going to be amazing every single game. Like Archie said, you take the good with the bad. I’ve been saying Green was going to win us multiple games vs top 25 opponents this year. Today he proved he can, just like he did in the FSU game, but you can’t shorten his minutes. He does seem to thrive off the bench though

Sit Green.
Win game.
I have avoided saying this because I think you might be developmentally disabled, but we have all read your Mr. Obvious posts, brain dead three word posts, conversations with yourself and repetitive illogical rants. Seriously, it’s time to STFU for at least a week. Let us have time to grow some brain cells back and then we can read more of your BS. Please, for the sake of all Hoosier fans....take a break!
I’m hoping you really aren’t developmentally disabled because I am sorry for my post if you are.

Green did not start.
And IU won the game.
Green does better coming off the bench.

That wasn't your mantra at first. You started out by saying that we would win if he was benched. That opinion was shown to be pin-headed.
Now, you are trying to chance the narrative?

Devonte Green is an infuriating player. When he takes good shots and doesn't play street ball, he's invaluable on the offensive end. However, when he gets cocky and thinks he's Danny Green, IU is a losing basketball team.

Danny Green is a great team player, knows his role and executes it very well and has for years. He takes good shots when he's supposed to take them. It's why he's stuck in the league for so long.

I'm equating Danny Green with being good enough to play in the NBA. Devonte will never sniff the league.

Oh, I don't know. Maybe, just maybe, Devonte Green will listen to Coach Miller. Maybe Devonte will get control of his abilities and blossom. It happens in streaks. It could, with his focus, happen for a full game. Then another.

Then IU reaps the benefits. And Devonte goes into the NBA. Not just on potential, either.

But you picked a guy who's entire NBA career is based on being a good team player, something Devonte still needs to learn. I get that he's his brother, but we need him to play more like his brother, not less. I doubt Devonte will play in the NBA, but if he accepted his role, much of which should be shooting and scoring, he'll help our team and increase the likelihood he'll get paid to play after college somewhere.

Ok...it is obvious now....
Just completely ignore my previous comments to you...sorry about that.

You right Buddy!
Green bad player.
You coach good!
You help win game!
Archie read your posts.
Way to go ufo!

When the shot clock goes red ...Which it does often with our offense..Green is really the only player we have..Who can get his own.
Sometimes it goes in
Sometimes it doesn't..
That's the reality.

Phinisee, can also "get his" when he's right. Part of a good PGs responsibility to me. The problem is, Green has always been too eager to "get his" early in the shot clock, without giving touches to our post players. I hope we never again have a game where TJD is credited with taking 3 shots.

I prefer players that play in a team system like Butler, Wisconsin, or IU under RMK where teams get high % shots via the assist not by taking a selfish low percentage one on one juke move. That is low IQ Basketball when a player does not recognize when that is a low % shot and very poor shot selection. Jay Edwards could create his own shot and finish with a high % shot. That is a rare attribute. There is nobody on the current roster with that ability. So team basketball, not forcing shots and recognizing when it is a low % shot or pass is a key to this IU team maturing and staying more consistent.

TJD is the best option if the shot click is running down. He tends to draw a lot of fouls if he doesn't finish.
