Looking at his profile it appears he is visiting FSU today. I hope on Tuesday he chooses IUTyler Jeffries 6-5 315 OG will be committing Tuesday 5.7 3 Star out of Tennessee leaning IU .
Lean, rangy, athletic. Like you say 3 more like him and also roster 4 more road graders. The better their feet the better for IUFB. Gotta have them to run effectively and pass efficiently. Talent at the skill positions can then make plays. Really can't wait to see Bell's offense, game planning, scheming and play calling. If he is a good manager of the above we could be in for a treat.…..with the Barrett commitment today. Can we clone 3 more of him?

Agree. And he’s actually up to 6’7, 270 per 247.…..with the Barrett commitment today. Can we clone 3 more of him?

Don’t forget Coach Carey former IU lineman ,head coach NIU and Temple my thoughts Allen didn’t add him for SGrins. It seems Hiller can recruit. His coaching not so much. Can't we find an Oline coach that can do both.
The question is why not just replace Hiller with Carey. Carey can't coach on the field or recruit in his current position. If his job is to teach Hiller how to coach then you might as well just let Carey coach.Don’t forget Coach Carey former IU lineman ,head coach NIU and Temple my thoughts Allen didn’t add him for SGrins.

I believe Hiller has another year on his contract (this year) so perhaps Carey is preparing to take over and will spend this year getting to know the players and the playbook. The question is why not just replace Hiller with Carey. let’s see if that happens.I believe Hiller has another year on his contract (this year) so perhaps Carey is preparing to take over and will spend this year getting to know the players and the playbook.
I have my doubts about coach Hiller but maybe the OL and he will look better in this new offense. If not, he needs to be gone after this season if the OL struggles again.let’s see if that happens.

Would be interesting to know what he wants to do longer term. The Temple situation went south for him quickly, but sometimes those things happen. Wonder if he wants a shot at redemption as a head coach or if he’d rather be a position guy or coordinator going forward. Wonder how much profile he’ll have with us.I liked the Rod Carey coached Northern Illinois teams. They were poised and had some upsets of teams on the road in the likes of Iowa and Nebraska.
He’s a good coach and we could do worse if we look for an Allen successor.
OL has been one of if not the limiting factor for us since Wilson first mismanaged the room so badly. None of our QBs are fleet enough to run for their lives effectivelyAs the OL goes so goes the team & the season,
hoping for a road grading experience.
