Golf club selection question

I keep a 60-degree LW next to my bed. Doesn't have the reach of a longer club, but easy to swing, and the high loft means the blade comes in at a hell of an angle.
If some meth head breaks into my house, there is a 100% chance I will yell "Fore!" while swinging it at his toothless grill.
C'mon, man. Around here, everyone should have a "Meth head breaks into my house" backup plan, just in case.
It took me a while to figure out what you were doing. I didn't read most of the thread.
There's so many songs to choose from. And they encompass the whole of American musical history...If music is the voice of the people and it is.. why do we have to keep singing the same damn songs? Maybe there's a huge problem... that's never went away. I'm sick of it.
Also . some advice, because I like you.....
Golf club or baseball bat is too long for self defense in closed quarters. and houses are closed quarters. If that person knows how to fight - and isn't just a dumb ass internet tough guy having a Rambo porn cosplay fantasy - and steps into you while you swing, If there's enough room to swing, you can't get enough energy to hurt him because you will hit with mid shaft or lower. and you will soon find that shaft up your ass. If using makeshift weapons ..Hammer right hand, screw driver left hand.
Remember this: if ever in a situation where someone wants to hit you with something like that, don't go backwards and help him, go towards him quickly and grab the weapon with both hands.
Edit: all it takes is one step in and a slide step with other foot to close quarters.

Good advice. That's why I went with the L-wedge. Shortest one in my bag. I also now have a very sharp knife. The kind with the little thumb knob you flip to open it very quickly. Guy that gave it to me is an ex-cop. And not the clean kind. The kind with cash buried in his back yard. He told me, "This knife is perfect for opening boxes, or gutting people."
I can probably post a 100's more without having to look them up. Woody, Seeger, and then Dylan and the 60's which is the most common era has barely been touched.

It's amazing to me that this was written in 1952 about Diaper Don's dad .. seems he was as much of a dick and racist as his son and grandsons are. I wonder if wore makeup and a diaper too?
