Is it fair to say that the bowl game we end up in is a testimony to the how well Fred does his job? I remember how we got hosed when we were assigned to the Insight Bowl instead of a Florida bowl which went to Iowa even though we had beaten them and had the same record. A bowl game the day after Christmas in either New York or California is a stretch for any IU football fan. A bowl game is more than a game- it is pre gameday festivities and interaction with other IU fans which will not happen if fans are asked to leave their families on Christmas Day to catch a flight. We should have a bowl-any bowl against any team- down south and after the 26th and before the 1st. If Nebraska is allowed a bid with 5 wins then let them leave their families on Christmas Day. I would appreciate comments on my post-pro or con.
