Don't ever bet on PU in March.
I think I saw enough stupidity in the game. Parker Stewart trying to be a tough guy, Race Thompson looking like He never switched on Defense before, and Johnson taking a 3 point shot at the end while looking for a foul call 35 feet from the basket. That's enough for Me.
No, of course not. But we played hard, and if we can take this momentum into the B1G tournament, we might yet make the dance (with a couple of wins).
This team isn’t going to flip a switch. They haven’t had 3 good shooting games in a row this season, and unfortunately it won’t start now.
Most will stay away especially after the F U chants they swore never happen there.
Besides we have plenty of stupidity right here at home
Looks like our momentum is better than Purdues. They have to be questioning themselves going into the BTT.
Yahoos on this board were predicting, maybe even hoping for a blowout. I'm glad we played well, saw a continuing emergence of XJ as a baller, and we did NOT get blown out.

8th ranked Purdue beats us late, because we always lose close games late.

So IU has better momentum than Purdue, despite the loss.

Archie’s teams would’ve lost this by 15-20 and never been in it. This team has serious roster issues and to play Purdue to the wire twice this season, and win one of them, tells me things are changing. Get some shooters and go to clutch scorers and this program will start winning again.

I really hope X comes back next year. I think he will do well as the cog that makes our offense go.
Purdue is in big trouble. IU’s offense isn’t that good and if Purdue’s defense was as good as their offense they win this by 20. I saw that their defense was ranked 100+. That’s barely a Sweet 16 team and don’t be surprised if we see an early exit by the Boilers.
Purdue knew today would be a war.
They knew today was IU’s SEASON. This wasn’t going to be a blowout. No way anybody, not a single Purdue fan fiend of mine, ever thought they’d beat the hell out of IU.
…..but Purdue still won.
They took a desperate team’s best shot and still came out on top.
In the B1G it isn’t about style points. It’s about results.

X needs to settle down at key points but the kid can score. No doubt about that.
Plenty of statistical data will show that a +100 defense will not make a FF. It will be all about matchups for them (like everyone). They could lose their first game or make the E8 and I
wouldn't be surprised either way
Maybe Galloway will be back for the BTT and lead us to the promised land
