Gave Up 67 Yards on Defense

Some of those yards were on a deflected pass that gave them a first down. Their best play at that point.
I personally don’t care who you’re playing in Power 5 level and you hold that team to 67 total yards. That’s amazing.

IU gave up 67 yards. PU gave up 66 points. Woof.
And they were over here crowing about it.
I know defense has some work to do. The pukes might be the worst team I have ever seen in my life. Game was so fun, but that was an embarassing joke of a game. They might need to quit the game.
What a miserable end to their season. PU players seemed fine with forfeiting and going back home, and I don’t blame them.
I also read that the guy who received the short snap on the fake punt, who was a defensive lineman, gained 18 yards and outgained the entire PU team on the ground.

Purdue is the worst Power 5 team I have ever seen. I don’t even know how a team gets that bad. I thought Walters was a mediocre hire from the start but never thought he would turn out this awful. He’s Purdue’s problem. That fanbase deserves the misery of this season.
The defense gave PU nothing this game and only a deflection of a pass amounted to much yardage. It was good seeing the defense give the ball back to the offense over and over again.

The worst P5 performance since Rutger came in and left with 1 passing yard. Even that Rutger team could have beat PU last night.
We stayed until the end. I started feeling bad for the PU player, but not the fans. The players deserve a decent coach. The fans have what they deserve.

And our Defensive End Carpenter rushed for 18 yards on the fake punt. Purdouche rushing total for the entire game was 13 yards…..
