It all depends on the role TE plays in the new offense and how the OL will develop. Is it going to be block primarily out of necessity, or will it be more of a receiver. Who knows.
IU has some talented young TEs that need to step up. Cooper is one but Ivy is a talented receiver too. If coach Sheridan does continue the offense coach DeBoer instituted our TEs will be targeted and need to make defenses pay for not focusing on them in our offense.
One small positive, Coach Sheridan coaches TE’s this season so he has a pretty good sense of their talents now. And I bet our new coach from IMG will do a nice job as well.
