Sommer 1-2-3 inning, followed by an inning by Indiana that featured a Drew Ashley walk and stranded on base. 0-0 heading into the second inning.
 
Sorry, folks, had to break off for some breaking news. We are currently in the fourth inning, and Matt Litwicki has taken over for Tommy Sommer after Sommer saw his pitch count skyrocket.
 
Jeremy Houston throwing error allows a San Diego runner to second and that runner scores on a single. 1-0 San Diego.
 
End of the 5th. It's 2-0 San Diego, and I'm back in action from this breaking news.
 
Grant Richardson records Indiana's first hit of the game with a liner to center. It's the 7th inning.
 
Indiana loaded the bases down 2-1 and then struck out twice. Headed to the 8th.
 
Jordan Fucci goes deep off the scoreboard. Lots of excitement for a couple minutes, but the score is 6-2.
 
FINAL: Indiana loses 6-2 to split the doubleheader
Take the rubber match tomorrow and it will still be a successful weekend. San Diego is also having a good start to the season, so we didn't lose to a bad team.
