GAME THREAD: IU 15 OSU 38. FINAL.

Special teams implosion and offense can't get out of its own way. Same crap as meat chicken second half. OSU adjusted after first IU drive and brought pressure. Zero IU adjustment to that. Get the farking ball out quick. Forget about rb blocking. Incapable.

So Ohio State looks like a team that could win the whole thing. Have to give them credit, sometimes when things go south the other team has something to do with it. Even without the self-inflicted wounds I think the bucknuts win this game.
I get the disappointment. I'm disappointed. It's always hard when opportunities slip away because it's never a guaranteed that you'll get another opportunity. Plus it's annoying because all the sports drones will have their 'Indiana is overrated, they haven't beaten anybody' answer queued up.
But I think we need to have some perspective here. This is one of the best 2 or 3 teams in Indiana history. They will have at least 11 wins. Even if they get snubbed by the CFB Playoff they'll still be in a very good Bowl and have a chance to win their first Bowl Game since 1991. And they have built a good foundation upon which they can build. The idea that the loss today means it's the same old Indiana after all is pretty silly.

Put Tayven in. No point in risking injury to Rourke.

Let’s hope Ole Miss loses to Florida.
Rourke is done.

Mind fcvkd....

Two terrible mistakes killed this team today

Bomba's procedure penalty when he lost the snap count at 3rd and one.

Of course the inexcusable killing mistake by the punter..

Special teams....

Wonder what the coaching staff spent two weeks on?
It wasn't blitz pickup..

I’m mentally wrestling with how to process this game. Defense was good. Running game was good. Pass protection was bad. Special teams was awful. All of this on the road against the best team in the country. DOES this keep us out?

IU isn’t making the playoffs. Top 5 teams in big 10 outside of IU are Oregon, Penn St, Ohio St, Iowa, and Illinois. IU played one —only one—of them this year and got dominated.

The only real disappointment was the pass blocking, both O and D. The inability to pickup and stop their blitz or rush Howard. O line opened some holes and our rush game was acceptable but man the pass blocking was ugh-LEE I was surprised.

10-1. Disappointed but not surprised . Lost as a 14 point underdog. Special teams gave up 14 quick points. The sky is not falling. Very good chance to finish 11-1. It will be a busy December in the portal.
