1. You can’t get there from here. 150 to Paoli, under construction with stop lights at one land bridge. 60 to Salem - same. 65 to Columbus - one land stretches and construction for the 150 th time in my life. But ... drove out of the rain at Bedford. Dry. 60. Football weather.
2. SEZ looks great. Knothole Park is great. Whole place is great.
3. Nice crowd. For once, I agree with the announced attendance. 45,000 was legit. With another 5-10,000 outside .
4. Got to watch the first half with td75 and his family. Nice folks. New friends. Second half went to sit with old friends. Football is more than the game.

From the jump, their DL was dominant. We couldn’t run it. We were only 4 for 16 on 3rd down, mostly because they fed us 3rd and long all night.
But neither could they. They had negative rushing yardage at half. And except for the 75 yarder at the end, we did fine against the rush in the second half too.
Ramsey was harassed and couldn’t just go through progression. He threw while in the grasp maybe 10 times, including the first quarter pick-6. The short pass was all we had.
Our secondary also has their hands full. Lewerke wasn’t great, but they got open, and the late TD just before half was a great play and a great catch. They won the 2 minute drill. The first rushed bad throw/pick 6 and that play and boom, 21-7. 2 plays and we go to half feeling gutted.
1st play of second half - DL shoves our OL on top of Ramsey. Sigh.

We fought back. But atthe end of the day, our OL was good, not elite. MSU’s DL was elite.
Play calling had nothing to do with it. Their DL was the game. MSU has a lot of weaknesses, but that DL is gonna keep them in every game.
This game shows we gotta get better - Rutgers is pretty bad, but everybody else can beat us.
