The start of the 4th period, after the offense had an incredible 3rd period, we inexplicably decide to run some clock. Two runs for no gain by Redding and an incomplete pass for a quick 3 and out, changed the momentum and outcome of the game. Rutgers was allowed to get off their heals and regroup on dee and we never got back in sync on offense. I can understand if we had Majette in the game, but Redding up the middle was a failure the entire game. Most of his yardage came on a 65 yd run to the outside with good blocking. I wonder what the thought process was on that series! Also I'm curious as to why so few changes in the defensive backfield despite so many poor coverages and missed tackles.
