Galloway Is The Way..

He needs to start with Rob, X, Trace and Race. Defense and team basketball
I'm o.k. keeping the current starting lineup. But with hopes that Woody is very quick to make lineup adjustments!

Our "base" style is better suited against Illinois. Cockburn will obviously bottle TJD up a bit, but their other big shouldn't be able to keep Race off the glass, or from scoring. And Illinois is much more aggressive doubling with their guards than Michigan is/needs to be. So guys like Stewart and Kopp should get some better looks tomorrow.

Having said that, we're going to need Trey, Rob, Jordan, etc... to help guard their dynamic perimeter guys.

I think Illinois is a slightly better matchup, they just have a lot better overall team than Michigan does. I really, really, wish Wisconsin had held off Nebraska this past weekend. Despite our futility against them in the last couple decades, I think that would have been much easier to win.

Agree with you. Plus, the Illini won't be game planning for that lineup, and could give us an advantage.
Look, we’ve shown we can’t handle Cockburn, so focus on harassing their guards and let Cockburn see if he can score 68 and beat you by himself. Trying to double up Cockburn or playing hard D on him will only result in TJD and Race sitting on the bench in foul trouble. The refs have already shown us how they’ll call it. I’m not saying don’t play D on Cockburn at all, but if he catches the ball within five feet, put your arms straight up and hope he misses. Don’t start with the jumping and swinging shit trying to get the heroic block. Guaranteed foul every time.

If Woody is going to start Kopp and Stewart, he needs to get the best players in earlier. Just one man’s opinion.

The defensive lineup of Trayce, X, Rob, Galloway, and JG could really be something special.
