Last week brought the news of Jerome Hunter leaving the Indiana program, giving Indiana one more open scholarship. That didn't take long to fill as USF transfer Michael Durr committed to Indiana shortly after.
Durr averaged 8.8 points and 7.9 rebounds per game last season and will have two years of eligibility remaining. He was officially announced as part of the IU program earlier on Friday.
"Michael will add a tremendous physical presence to our team," noted Woodson. "He's a veteran player who has started more than 80 games at the Division I level. I think he has shown he is an excellent rebounder, his free throw shooting is markedly improved and he can help us offensively and defensively down low. He's a true center who will make us better."
With that, all scholarships are filled at 13.
Looking ahead to the summer, coaches can finally get back out on the road and watch prospects live starting June 1. Starting June 15, coaches can start to contact class of 2023 prospects directly. Right now it has to go through a coach or parent.
With that, June will be a very busy month. Below are the visits that TheHoosier.com has been able to confirm through the player, coach, family member or source.
