This weekend starts the final live evaluation period this summer and that means coaches will be out in full force to end the month.
Peach Jam will conclude this weekend after a two-week long event. Adidas will be in Atlanta (Kaleb Banks, Favour Aire, Noah Clowney, London Johnson). Under Armour will be in Indy and the PrepHoops 2k21 Event will be a big one in Indy as well.
TheHoosier.com will be in Indy for the PrepHoops event and get looks at Gabe Cupps, Reed Sheppard and some rising guys who could get some IU interest soon. It'll be my first look at Cupps and Sheppard in person.
Peach Jam will be missing some of the IU targets, however. Obviously CJ Gunn is still out with a broken wrist he suffered at the beginning of the event. But this week, it was announced that Jalen Hood-Schifino and Kyle Filipowski will miss the rest of the event after testing positive for COVID.
Some other notables in Peach Jam include, Brice Sensabaugh, Malik Reneau, Jeremy Fears and Kaleb Glenn.
Some other notables at the Under Armour event include 2023's Sam Orme and Joey Hart. Both are teammates for Grand Park Premier. Indiana has been in contact with Joey Hart and Sam Orme is a name that is emerging as a prospect who will be getting a look from IU.

It was announced on Thursday that top-60 forward Malik Reneau was offered by Indiana.
The class of 2022 forward plays for Nightrydas (FL) on the AAU circuit and for Montverde Academy (FL) - teammates with a Jalen Hood-Schifino.
Reneau is an extremely talented forward who has great skill. Sees most of his action inside the paint but he does so off of rebound putbacks, is tremendous off of the dribble, and has some mid-range ability as well. Long, athletic, hybrid forward. Has really good touch mid-range and in - just doesn't take a lot of 12-15 footers.
He has offers from programs like Florida, Florida State, Miami, LSU amongst many others. There is some early talk that Florida feels pretty good with their positioning right now but it still seems pretty early in his recruitment with not many visits taken this summer.

2022 wing and Indiana target Brice Sensabaugh will announce his top-5 next Friday.
Indiana offered in late June and Sensabaugh has received near 10 offers over the past week due to his play at Peach Jam.
At this moment, I would expect IU to be on that list.
On Indiana: "Indiana is a great school in a great conference and high level basketball is all I want to do and feel like if I go to Indiana that's what I can do... I have high interest in Indiana."
On Coach Woodson: "Someone in coach Woodson, you can't complain about it and that's all you can ask for... Someone who has been there and back is really all I'm looking for. The most important thing every college player can have is a great mentor and someone to keep their head on straight."

As for potential August/September visits, 2022 C Noah Clowney is one that is expected in August.
Indiana, Clemson, South Carolina, Virginia Tech seem to be the core group for Clowney at this point. Getting him on campus and having a productive visit will be crucial for IU.

2023 guard Reed Sheppard has received a few interesting offers over the last two weeks: Kentucky, Indiana and Virginia.
Those three seem to be the best shot at landing him. Obviously, his dad played at Kentucky and UK thinks it has the best shot at landing Sheppard. Virginia is an interesting offer. And I don't think IU is totally out to dry in this one.
At the end of the day, my guess is still Kentucky though *at this moment*.
He's been one of the best performers over the last few weeks so it'll be good to get some eyes on him in person this weekend.

As a note...
An updated 2022 hot board will be up on Monday and then the first installment of the 2023 hot board will be up next week as well.
