On the recruiting front, Indiana offered 2025 prospect Bryson Tiller this week. It is the 3rd 2025 player IU has offered so far.

Tiller plays for Pace (GA) Academy and is a 6-foot-8 wing. He is averaging 13 points and 8 rebounds per game this season as a freshman.

Tiller has offers from Auburn, Georgia Tech and Xavier from the power-5 level.

Tiller on the IU offer: "It means a lot to receive an offer from such a historic program, I am just grateful to receive it"

Tiller on Mike Woodson's NBA coaching and playing experience: "It shows me that he understands the game from both a player’s and a coaches perspective... it really stands out and means a lot"

Tiller plays on the same AAU program as 2023 commit Jakai Newton. Tiller played up with the 17U roster. He says they have a good relationship.

A big event in La Porte, Indiana has multiple Indiana targets in action.

Indiana 2022 signee Jalen Hood-Schifino, 2023 target KJ Evans, 2024 target Derik Queen all in action for Montverde. 2023 target Coen Carr in action for Legacy Early College (SC).

Carr and LEC played La Lumiere yesterday and took a tough loss. It was a 15+ point game for the majority of the afternoon.

Carr finished with 12 points on 5-of-11 FG, 3 rebounds and 3 blocks.

His athleticism was tremendous. He made multiple big time blocks both from the weak-side and as the main defender. Off of both feet jumping with no momentum, too. His length is something different. Legit 6-foot-10 wingspan and he gets his hands on almost every pass cross court. Biggest play was a deflection off of an inbounds play and huge dunk at the other end.. and he got UP. Was 0-of-3 from deep. More of a flick than fluid form, but not a bad form. One of the 3's was at the end of the game clock. Still needs to add a mid-range game or some type of floater but he is very talented around the basket.

JHS finished with 13 points on 5-of-18 from the field (1-of-8 from 3), 4 assists, 2 steals, 1 TO.

Hood-Schifino struggled with his shot all afternoon as did most of his teammates. He did a tremendous job getting by defenders, but was just a bit off when finishing at the rim and on his mid-range jumper. He got to his spots with ease, it was just the finishing that was off. Decision making was solid once again, however. To play in a high level game in a 1 vs 2 matchup and have just 1 turnover with the ball in his hands that much should show you the type of player he is. Defensively, he was solid. Really gets down in a great stance and moves horizontally very well. Solid frame so he can body up smaller or bigger offensive players.

Both Evans and Queen played very limited minutes.

More on their games:

Both teams are back in action later today and Kyler will be up there this weekend on Saturday.
