Now that I've calmed my emotions, I can fully express my thoughts and feelings about the game. First, I want to thank the team, the coaches, and the supporting administration for giving the fans not only a good season, but also an exciting one. I lived and died on each and every play of each and every game. There were highs and there were lows, but mostly the highs were exhilarating. Thanks for all of that. However, amongst all that, my disappointment and frustration lies with our overtime session. Sure, I was disappointed with the "missed kick", but what disappointed me more was that we didn't go with Redding at all. This man ran for 227 yards on 30 something carries and we couldn't give it to him one more time. We had two passes and a near sack, but couldn't find the opportunity for one running play. I would have opened that possession with a run, and perhaps had second and short. Woody Hayes once said, if you put the ball in the air, there are three possible outcomes. and two are bad. So why not run in such a critical situation? It had been going well. Anyway, thanks again for a good year, and hopefully next year will be better.
