Ohhh boy...I'm sure everyone here remembers this story and the bashing the A.D. took. Thank God this kid stuck around.

2. I hope that the freaking athletic department gets it together so this doesn't happen again.

The NCAA is a complete fraud. They completely ignore a school that commits intentional academic fraud and then turn around and penalize a student athlete for what amounts to a paperwork oversight.

Sure.... slap on the wrist for what amounts to homicide but you sum-bitches that jaywalk on our watch, you are doing hard time!

The employee that caused the mess got the axe. The problem was an oversight due to a clerical error. They happen sadly. Fritz was the better man for sure in all of this by sticking around and accepting the hand dealt to him. It wasn't the ADs fault, I get that people like you hate his guts, and he certainly deserves criticism sometimes, but this isn't one of them. If you want to be mad at someone, be mad at the NCAA that took a year from this kid over a clerical error.
