I really hate to see that happen to an IU legend but certainly understandable
This is a big reason why we should have moved on last year. There was always a high probability of this happening. It’s shitty for everyone.
It’s even more frustrating considering Dusty May fell in our laps. Only IU basketball could be mismanaged this poorly.

Totally agree. And bothers me some that many chanting probably never saw him play or have any appreciation for him as an IU player. No joy in this whatsoever.

Doesn’t diminish him as a player in my mind. But he’s not a good college coach. And he’s stubbornly hanging on, but that’s nothing unusual for a coach.
If it was the student section then none of them saw him play. They only know the coach.
Woodson has brought this on himself with his condescending comment about true fans, his arrogance on parade time after time.
If his legacy is destroyed then he only has to look in the mirror to see what caused it.

Coach Woodson and his fantastic coaching staff made excellent halftime adjustments to avoid losing by 40. Gotta give him credit for getting the fellas motivated and ready to play ball after intermission. It’s moments like this we should all embrace the Woodson era.
This has nothing to do with him being a player. That was 40 years ago. This today.

Hell of a program. I hate to see it for Woody but he brought it on himself. Keeping Rosemond and Hunter as assistants was a huge red flag. If you can’t construct an adequate staff then how are you to lead a team?

Pretty normal for players to stick up for their coach. Not going to really hold that against him. But that’s why you don’t give the players a vote on those decisions.

After listening to CMWs press conference, It’s clear to me that he has no idea how to fix this clusterf! Puts a lot of blame on them not having MR playing. MR out is not the reason this team is getting blown out by 30! He is in way over his head!
