FieldTurf Surface

The playing surface did not look good during the Spring Game yesterday. Does anyone know what the timeline is to getting it replaced?

The field surface was fine. The colors were just faded.

Glass said before last season it had about 2 years left...

so maybe next summer? It is faded, but that's common at the end of their life cycles. I remember Michigan had that issue a few years back.

I walked on it saturday....

...they had "re-seeded" some of the field with the field turf's little beads of rubber, which made the field look darker and dirtier. I noticed a lot of the beads (I think that it comes from recycled tires) more than usual...

It looked bad last year as well

watching the games last year I noticed how dark the field got the farther along the season went.
