I know that FEMA, under this unadministration has taken some hits, just as planned to divert attention away from the Dem DC Caliphate intended.
But In my personal experience, way back in ....2005 was it? The greatest Central Indiana flood since 1913.
They moved in within 2 days, took some measurements of damage, and less then 48 hours later, there was just short of $30k deposited in my bank account.
THEN, 4 months later called me and asked if I needed more, because their max payment allowance (which is what they gave me) could in no way fix my damage. I was ... WOW..
I said, no. We good, thank you.

OH wait, 05' was Republican leadership. Well there is that.
