I use to think the same, but changed my opinion after the results of the past 20-30 years. China is a much bigger threat today than they were 20 years ago. Also, they're much scarier in my opinion than the former USSR. China, unlike USSR, can now out produce us, which is how wars are won. It comes down to who can make the most bullets, planes, ships, and drones. And who has the best technology. I don't see how continuing the path we have taken the past 30 years is a net positive for the U.S. or the World.
So true. All their military bases with thousands of soldiers joff the coast of California, Oregon and Canada just waiting to invade .....
The scums!!!
You have been so brainwashed it's unbelievable.
Nobody in Asia talks about China invading anyone or anywhere. It's your media sources that have indoctrinated your brain into thinking that this is the 1970s all over again. Find me one statement that the Chinese want to invade the US? Nada.
But I can show you plenty of statements coming out of the US talking about going to war with China -- nevermind the bases that surround the Chinese shipping lanes and its coast.
This is why most Asians have developed an unfavourable attitude/perception towards the US nowadays.
The ignorance, hypocrisy, lack of self-awareness and, some would say, racism that are being projected into Asia on the part of the Biden and now Trump administrations are mind-boggling.
If the various administrations just admitted that they are doing it for
self-interest rather than the bullshit protection of 'freedom' and 'democracy', then they would respect the approach more. So Trump's directness in terms of a transactional approach, ie UKR is at least more honest, albeit distasteful.
Meanwhile I am less concerned about the trade war but an actual war between the Indians and the Paks. Two nuclear powers
