F1 - 2025 Season

Lando has been showing some weakness (mostly mental). Hopefully Oscar can keep this up…
My impression is that Oscar is cold blooded and Lando will fold. It’s turning out to be the story of the season. We’ll all see in due time.

The season has been disappointing imo, aside from Melbourne the on track action hasn’t been great. One car is clearly better than the rest. Thought Ferrari would be a lot better and it’s depressing for me to see Alonso have to push around that shitbox on Sundays.

The rookies have been interesting I guess. Kimi, Bearman, Hadjar and Bortoleto have impressed. Doohan and Lawson have not.

Yea, I was hoping the top four teams' cars would be closer this year. Even worse, the more the teams develop the aero the more outwash they create, and it seems even harder to race close/pass (overtake) this year.

But, F1 always has some storylines to follow like the ones you mentioned.

Your boy Fred will probably get a shot in the Newey-mobile next year. Hang in there!

I thought a good example of the difference b/t these two was how they got around Lewis. Oscar had a sweet outside pass in an unexpected part of the track, while Lando took four laps because he didn't play DRS right.

I think Lando is still slightly quicker, but Oscar has the edge mentally and with "racecraft." And with more confidence Oscar might be as quick as Lando...

Someone posted this on TF. Assuming it's correct, I actually didn't realize Oscar has been such a good run...

4. LeClerc: 87 points, 4 podiums, 1 win
5. Russell: 57 points, 2 podiums, 1 win

Cumulative: above data + 2025 season = 12 races
1. Piastri: 232 points, 9 podiums, 5 wins
2. Norris: 185 points, 8 podiums, 2 wins
3. Max: 175 points, 5 podiums, 1 win

Oscar not blinking an eye in turn 1 Sunday and then pulling ahead to run a flawless race was very Max-like.
